A Quilter to Quilter-Judged Challenge
Challenge Overview
Calling all quilters! Put your creativity to the test in our Fat Quarter Challenge. This challenge invites participants to design and construct a project unique to them using Kinetic Geometrics fat quarters of fabric. Showcase your skills, imagination, and craftsmanship in a friendly competition judged by fellow quilters.
Contest Rules
· Fabric Requirement: Each quilt must incorporate at least one (1) fat quarter of Kinetic Geometric Fabric. These Kinetic Geometric Fat quarters are available at the shop starting on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 (they can be purchased any time after that while supplies last). Kinetic Geometric fat quarters only will be discounted at $3.50 each.
· Size Limitation: Finished quilt/project must not exceed 50” x 50” in size.
· Technique: Any quilting technique is allowed, including piecing, appliqué, embroidery, or any mixed methods. Quilts, bags, table runners, etc. anything goes!
· Submission: All entries must be completed and submitted by January 10th at 4:00 p.m. to Sew Together.
· All projects must be labeled on the back/inside with name, phone number and email address to ensure that Sew Together knows who created it. This will be blind judging, names will not appear on the front of the quilt/project.
Judging Process
Unlike traditional competitions, judging will be conducted by your fellow quilters. All contest participants will have the opportunity to view and vote on their favorite projects. Judging criteria may include creativity, craftsmanship, use of the fat quarter, and overall visual impact. Judging will finish up on January 31, 2026 and winners will be announced during the first week of February 2026.
Prizes
Heidi is working on some amazing prizes! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on YOUR judging.
How to Enter
1. Design and create your quilt/ project following the contest rules above.
2. Complete the entry form (available at the shop).
3. Submit your quilt/project and entry form by the specified deadline.

All skill levels are encouraged to participate. This is a celebration of quilting and creativity—whether you’re a seasoned quilter or trying something new, your work deserves to be seen! For questions or more details, please contact the contest organizer.
