Bead Your Quilt!
On Friday, 04.05.24 we invite you to join our very talented Karen Barrett as she guides you through a beading journey.
Karen Barrett has been sewing her whole life. Her earliest childhood memory is sitting under the sewing machine, as a toddler, watching the threads fall around her.
About fifteen years ago, Karen discovered quilting and that started a whole new chapter in her life. After gaining some experience, she began teaching quilting and opened a sewing school in Texas called Learn to Sew – Learn to Quilt. She loves teaching, especially introducing newbies to the magic of a needle pulling thread.
Since moving to New Mexico four years ago, Karen has taught scores of students everything from Beginning Sewing and Beginning Quilting to more complex skills such as Free Motion Quilting, Fabric Manipulation and Embellishment, Applique, Trapunto, Curves, and Paper Piecing. Many of her students have taken multiple classes from Karen and her evaluations are consistently excellent.
