2024 ABQ Shop HopDiabolical Jane
With a name like Diabolical Jane, this quilt has got to be a fun one. The large border is a good starting point for fabric and color choices. It is an example of 'the more the merrier'. The piecing is simple and there are a few tricks for dealing with the bias edges before the border is attached. Come, learn and sew a happy quilt.
A sewing machine is not needed for the first class. We will be choosing fabrics and colors. Students will receive coloring pages to help with planning and layout. Colored pencils will also be available. Special cutting will be demonstrated.

For the second and third sessions a sewing machine with a 1/4" presser foot is needed.
Also bring:
rotary cutter
rulers, 6" x 24" and 6" x 12'
thread to blend with fabrics
fabric markers
basic sewing supplies
painters tape or washi tape
